Three t-shirts, ca. 1948. All three are faded white, with some staining, and missing their labels. The first t-shirt has holes cut out of it, with Alpha Beta Sigma C.M.C.E., in red letters on the front; the second has Gover's Sports with a horse and rider jumping a hedge in green letters on the front; the third has Central Michigan with the school seal, Central Michigan College of Education, (now Central Michigan University, CMU) Mount Pleasant, 1891, in maroon letters on the front. Biographical information on the Holbrooks (modern copies), is included with the t-shirts.

Robert Holbrook graduated from CMU in 1950 with a B.S. in history. While at CMU, he was a member of Alpha Beta Sigma fraternity, serving as secretary, the Student Social Activities Committee, the Social Science Association, the Men's Union, and he served as a Vetville Councilman. His wife Julia (Chestnut) Holbrook graduated from CMU in 1948 with a B.S. in art.
